Jail Tales ("The Prostitute" featured)
As Rachael knows, I wrote these in high school or Mrs. Fox's class. It's dirty... but thats the way Mrs. Fox likes it. Children should be warned to cover their eyes now before they are perminently damaged. I don't really know why i'm posting these... i just found them on my computer.
Introduction
For as many years as laws have been made,
People have been braking them, I’m afraid.
Back in the days or trees, sinners and snakes,
Life was so simple but trouble one makes.
The asp from deep Hell came up and parleyed,
With pure, young, sweet Eve, and he did persuade
Her and her mate to covet that tree’s fruit.
Fruit of which God said eating did not suite.
The premier "Thou shalt not" they disobeyed.
Since this first sin many more, men have made.
Today vices lurk around every bend.
Giving into them may lead to your end.
But still people do, ev’ry single day.
If caught by me they know they will pay.
Criminals, I find, when rocks are turned over.
Inmates collect from Fresno to Dover.
No matter to me what crime one commits
Delinquents, for sure, with no limits.
That’s why they’re hauled in, for me to keep.
Guilty ‘til innocent, don’t want a peep.
They all will get their day in court,
But ‘til they are let free I will not sort
Between right and wrong and guilty and not.
I treat them the same, the whole rotten lot.
The Prostitute
An unclean broad, with disheveled, bleached locks.
At her port, each night a new someone docks.
She’d been ridden hard and put away wet,
The game that she played was that of roulette.
I could smell her vice from a good distance.
Her john must have been of quite a potence.
The bitter stench of sex oozed from each pore
The scent that so clung to every whore.
Allure there had been, but long since left her.
She once may have had quite a nice figure,
But pantyhose and pink micro minis
Can’t cover what men see in their skivvies.
Her legs go for miles, with 6 inch heals on.
Her legs I bet are what snagged her this john.
She wasn’t fresh faced, her eyes had seen things,
Deep blue, almost purple, beauty that stings.
A good heart in her dwelt, somewhere hidden.
No one could get it, love was forbidden.
That she’s in this work is really a shame,
‘Nother life, ‘nother world, what a nice dame.
Conclusion
I’ve assembled a group in these hours,
All have found ways to abused their powers.
A prostitute and her john walked the streets.
Now cold in their cell they await their trials.
A shoplifter was caught stealing her goods.
Is it worth all this trouble for new duds?
A nutty liberal out to save the world,
Under her mattress she is tightly curled.
Drugs can be found all around this city,
The dealers make their catching to easy.
A strange one now, the serial killer,
This victims so weak, and he a thriller.
Fist fights are common, to be true, they are.
But awful each time, a curse of the bar.
Another victim of the devil drink,
A drunk who crashes, never tried to think.
All these criminals have much in common,
All here now talking of what’s gone on.
Each one tells of the mess they got into
The judge will decide which stories are true.
